Vinto Hreeda is the Reckless Vigilante from Jabba's Realm and is one of the most fun characters to play. He offers many unique talents for addictive gameplay and frustration for your opponent, so let's dive right in.

Let's get this out of the way right away - Vinto Hreeda is a hero who is unparalleled in his damage output (with the right upgrades). While his 11 health, 4 endurance, 4 speed, white defense die stat line seems underwhelming, it is only to counter his amazing abilities and will be improved greatly.

Build #1

This is a build that I have been getting some pretty good success out of and allows other heroes to soak up a majority of the credits and XP. First you start with Rapid Fire. Rapid Fire allows you to, for a strain to deal 1 damage to every hostile figure in your line of sight and within 3 spaces. Best of all, this doesn't use an action (which for balancing purposes it probably should). This makes Vinto damage-dealing machine (I've literally dealt a total of 7 damage with this card). Make sure to pair this with Thread the Needle (above) to hit even more targets. Next, I'll get Shot on the Run, another great damage dealing card but to a lesser effect. This card allows you to exhaust it to deal 1 damage to a hostile figure in your line of sight and within 3 spaces if you have performed a move. This is easy to activate and for 1XP also gives you +1 speed. Lastly, I'll keep his starting weapon, Hair-trigger Pistol because it's okay and I personally don't want to spend credits because Vinto can get damage across other ways. (Additionally, if you have some extra XP to spend, I would recommend Sharpshooter. Not only does this give you +1 accuracy but it allows you to use Boltslinger (above), Rapid Fire and Shot on the Run at four spaces instead of three.)

Totals: 5 XP (7XP w/ Sharpshooter)

Build #2

Vinto Hreeda has access to Off-Hand Blaster for 3XP and I'm going to base this build off that card. First, I'll get the best combination with that card, Pinpoint Shot. For 1XP this card allows you to guarantee that you will get 1 damage and weaken off all of your attacks - including the quite weak Off-Hand Blaster shot. Then, I'll add Dead On. This card will allow you to get an extra damage with Pinpoint Shot. So basically what you will have is a shot for 1 strain that can deal 2 damage and force the defender to become weakened (and then you can use Boltslinger off this attack). Image this when you're facing Darth Vader or an AT-ST. Instead of having to penetrate the black-black defense, you can deal an automatic 2 damage and weakened. I'll keep his starting weapon, Hair-trigger Pistol because he will primarily get damage through his Off-Hand Blaster.

Totals: 7 XP

Build #3

Vinto Hreeda can get pretty scary if you get him the right upgrades. In this build, I will focus on pure, efficient damage output. I'll start with both of his 4XP options - Rapid Fire and Merciless. These will allow him to toss damage around the map - both to the defender and to everybody near him. I'll also add the 434 Deathhammer for it's pure damage output. This will let Vinto roll Blue-red with +4 damage (from Merciless). This will already turn Vinto into a dangerous hero. But I'll add Dead On to finish the build and maximize his damage output.

Totals: 600 Credits 11 XP

Although I don't normally talk about hero Reward Cards, you need to get Desperado. When paired with Combat Coat you can get so many blocks (a totally unrealistic yet still possible maximum blocks of 42). Unfortunately, you do have to exhaust it and it will not always work so well (the most I've gotten is 10).

Overall, I think the best build is the first one. Vinto has a very heavy attack and a poor defense (he has no XP cards that relate to defense, save for his reward card). If you want to run him correctly, you will need to run a tank (Jarrod, Verena, Biv, etc.) with him. Then, he can be a pure damage machine and is really effective. I've literally had turns were he kills 4 different figures in the course of an activation. So on that note, I would recommend Vinto.
