Tress Hacnua is a hero from the Tyrants of Lothal expansion box. As a cyborg, she boasts a unique play style.

This Cybernetic Brawler has a mediocre hero sheet. She has 11 health (about average), 4 endurance (low), 4 speed (low) and a white defense die. Her attributes are nothing to write home about - they are decent in about every category. One important thing about her - she interacts with her own special token - the style token. Almost all of her XP cards generate their power off these tokens and it is important to note that only 2 of them can be used at one time. This makes her have to prioritize what effects she spends them on. Her Reinforced Cyberarm is one of the worst starting weapons in the game, but this is made up for by the ability to spend a style token to add a damage.
Build #1
This first build for Tress is going to be a light one. I'll start with Punch Dagger. You'll see that I reference this card a lot and that's simply because I think it's really good (I have a review on it). Next I'll get Dragonstrike Variation this card makes it so Tress can pile up style tokens (it's reasonable for her to get 3-4 style tokens per round). Finally I'll finish the build with Aryx Variation. This will give Tress more speed to relentlessly hunt and kill.
Totals: 400 Credits 4 XP
Build #2
This build is going to center around a really great XP card - Krayt Dragon Fury. This card allows you to spend style tokens to apply +1 surge or -1 dodge to the results. So, I'm going to need a melee weapon that has great surges but doesn't surge a lot naturally. Ultimately I think I'll go with Ryyk Blades. Although Tress will only roll green-yellow, she can spend any number of style tokens to apply +1 surge which is then converted to damage. Using the second half of Krayt Dragon Fury, you could get an incredible amount of damage.
Totals: 4 XP 950 Credits
Build #3
Tress Hacnua can perform as one of the game's best superheroes and here's how. First I'll give her Punch Dagger. This weapon has a brutal punch and will allow her to be a solid attacker for a small amount of credits. I'll begin with Dragonsnake Variation. Not only does this card make her more survivable, but it also allows her yet another way to gain Style tokens. After that, I'll give Tress Aryx Variation. This allows her to gain style tokens with far more ease and spend them in better ways. Next I'll address one of Tress's biggest problems - defense. Acklay Counter makes her one of the most defensive heroes in the game and gives her another way to spend her style tokens. If a Riot Trooper is attacking her, when the attack is declared, she can force him to suffer 2 damage - potentially killing him before he gets to attack her. I'll finish her build with Fluidity. This card will give Tress unprecedented action economy - she can attack, kill someone, gain 2 style tokens with Dragonsnake Variation, spend the style tokens to rest with Fluidity, then perform another action. Yes, this build is expensive, but if you can convince your friends, you'll have a great time
Totals: 400 Credits 10 XP
I really recommend giving Tress a try. She performs unlike any other hero in the game. Categorizing her is borderline impossible.
