Onar Koma is a bodyguard support hero for Imperial Assault and comes in the Jabba's Realm Expansion. Truthfully, I think he is not very good, but he brings some specail things to the table that are fun to play around with.

First of all, Onar has 20 Health. This is the most out of any hero in the game. He has the standard 4 endurance and 4 speed but has no defense die. This is his biggest weakness. A Stormtrooper group will get about 9 - 12 damage on Onar. This makes him need to rest often. Luckily, his abilities make him quite efficient at resting and being an all-around tank. He can't gain harmful conditions and has Rush, which is actually really useful. Also, his blue-yellow-yellow fist attribute is the best dice combination for any attribute in the game and has a 93% chance of getting a surge. These are some of the things that I will be building with for Onar.

Build #1

This build is going to make Onar Koma the hardest hitter in Imperial Assault. First I'll get him Electrostaff. With Rush, he should be able to get close and personal and do some big time damage (and use the automatic Cleave 2). As for class cards, the best one for this build is Don't Make Me Hurt You. This card can allow Onar to attack with a Red-Red-Blue-Green attack die combination with some reputation. Next, I'll get Hold Still. This card will not only allow him to cancel his opponents block results, but he can also get focused quite often (Red-Red-Blue-Green-Green). Because he can suffer 1 damage to ready Don't Make Me Hurt You, he will seriously be the hardest hitter in the game. Then I'll add Mutual Destruction. Lastly, I just want to point out the maximum damage you can get with this attack (14 damage, Cleave 2)

Build #2

This build is going to make Onar Koma a support hero. First, I'll give him Stay Behind Me and Get Down. This can really help him defend other heroes in your squad. Then I'll give him Brute Strength. This makes him the best at ANY attribute test and will allow him to interact without using an action (assuming you get 2 fist successes a 67% chance). Finally, I'll add Keep Up so he can stay with the rest of my squad. As for a weapon, I think I'll leave him with his Bodyguard Rifle. While this weapon is not very reliable, it is solid for a support hero (he will probably not want to attack anyway).

Totals: 7 XP

Build #3

This build is going to try to make Onar a superhero (in my books, just a really, really good hero that can do just about everything). First I'll get him Black Sun Armor. This is the best armor in the game and almost makes up for the fact he has no defense die. Then, I'll get him Brute Strength and Don't Make Me Hurt You. I'll finish this superhero build with Keep Up and Get Down. Then, I'll add Electrostaff again. I'll be the first to admit that this is not your typical superhero build. But Onar does things differently. Before I played with him, I thought the lack of a defense die wouldn't be that much of a loss. But it is huge and makes him very vulnerable to attacks. If you want a unique playing experiance, I would play with Onar. Otherwise, I don't think he's very competitive.
