Saska Teft - Hero Review

Saska Teft is one of the two heroes from Twin Shadows and in my opinion the better one. She operates as a tech support hero so she is very different from every hero I've ever played.

Saska Teft interacts with device tokens - her own special token. Using a strain, she can give these to herself or an adjacent friendly figure. These device tokens can be used to apply +1 surge to an attack a reroll a die while performing an attribute test. Saska's stats are basic. She has 11 health, 4 endurance and a white defense die - all mediocre stats. But her 5 speed makes her at least interesting as a speedy support. Her attributes aren't very good, except for tech of course.

Build #1

Gadgeteer is one of Saska Teft's best XP cards and is going to be the foundation for this first build. This allows her to use Battle Technician twice per round. This means that she can just be throwing these device tokens quickly and efficiently. Next, I'll get Energy Shield. This allows Saska to pass out Device tokens and then have herself or other friendly units use them to apply +1 block. Lastly, I'm going to add Bacta Pump. This cheap upgrade will help Saska keep her strain under control - she'll be taking a lot of it.

Build #2

Although I have categorized Saska Teft as a support hero, she can also be one of the biggest damage heroes in the game. First I'll give her one of my favorite weapons in the game - Disruptor Pistol. Pairing this with Power Converter will give Saska Teft a red-red attack pool with a free surge (hopefully going for that surge to 3 damage). This will generally get 6-9 damage per attack - great for the investment that we have put into her. I will also give her Gadgeteer - a solid upgrade to make her one of the best attacking heroes in the game

Build #3

For a final build, I'm going to go all out with Saska Teft. First, I'll give her Gadgeteer. This card is probably her best and allows her to be strong support. Next, I'll give her Energy Shileld. Defense is an important part in this game and Energy Shield allows Saska to help everyone become more defensive. I'll also add Adrenaline Injector. This card allows your whole squad to get focused easily and move quickly. I'll cap it off with Remote Distribution. This build allows Saska to be a support powerhouse.

Saska Teft is a solid hero. Although I wouldn't recommend running her with fewer than 4 heroes, with 4 heroes, she shines.
