Overwhelming Oppression is an Imperial class deck from Tyrants of Lothal. It interacts heavily with power tokens and allows you to send your units in to the game when they are at full strength. The starting card - Commence Landing characterizes this perfectly. Keep this card in mind as you look through these builds.
Build #1
This build is going to focus on the power tokens that this class deck specializes in. First I'll start with Redouble Our Efforts, which is truthfully a great card. I'll also add Tactical Mastery. This card makes surges so much more powerful and allows your melee attacks to blast or your ranged attacks to cleave (if you set it up right). I'll finish it off with Indomitable Force. This card allows you to not be confined by too many power tokens on your open groups. I would mostly use the ? power token to get surges so Tactical Mastery can be used even more. All and all, this build will allow you to pressure your foes extensively. Between Commence Landing, Redouble Our Efforts, Tactical Mastery, and Indomitable Force, you will place 4 power tokens at the start of each round. Then you can use Indomitable Force to transfer them to other units. This build is effective and powerful and I would start exploring this class deck with this build.

Build #2
One of the best things about this class deck, is it can be played many different ways based off what heroes you're facing and what they are doing. This build is going to be amazing against tank heroes or heroes who are playing like tanks. First I'll start with Tie Landers. While this card isn't amazing, it can get some damage on various different heroes without taking any of your figure's actions. The next card I would recommend is Tie Fighter Patrol. This card can really take advantage of some heroes (Biv, Gaarkhan) and do pretty well against almost all other heroes. Finally, I would end with Limitless Arsenal. This card is really good if you use it well and can beef up some of your weaker attacks. That's one of the best things about this class deck. It seems like no matter who you're facing, it will be good.

Build #3
In almost every review I do a pure value list and this is going to be that list. I'll start with Personal Flagship. This steals it's idea from the Nemesis Class Deck and allows you to get far more powerful units in your open groups. In fact, I think this card almost makes the Nemesis Class Deck less desireable. While that class deck focuses on the villains, this one adds one in addition to the power token focus. Next I'll add Tactical Mastery. You read about this card in my first build and I think it is one of the best cards in this deck. To pair with the Personal Flagship, I'll again add Limitless Arsenal. This will be even better because no matter what villain you choose, they are bound to have good attack dice (unless you choose Greedo or something). This build is probably my favorite because it is full of really fun cards. You get a villain with Personal Flagship, you get to use fun surges with Tactical Mastery, and you can make Stormtroopers with Darth Vader's attack (I don't know why you would want to do that because you'll get very little accuracy, but hey, you could).
Totals: 8 XP
If you are looking for a versatile and powerful class deck with many new twists, you should really check out Overwhelming Oppression. It is one of the funnest class decks to play. You should totally try it.
