Bo-rifle is a Tier 3 weapon from the Tyrants of Lothal Expansion and is what I would like to call a bargain. I truthfully don't agree with the cost of this weapon. Although you will have to pick it up late in the campaign, (Tier 3) it is a great weapon for a support hero or a hero who can't get the other players to splurge on him anymore.

The Bo-rifle costs 750 credits and grants you a blue-blue-red melee attack. It gives you surge to 1 damage, stun, which is really good (the surge to exhaust this card to be come focused is also quite good). So right away this is a really good weapon. It is the cheapest three die attack (the next cheapest is a tie between Sporting Blaster and the T-21 - both at 900 Credits) so it should automatically jump out at you. Finally, to cap it all off, it gives you a special action that allows you to perform a ranged attack with the Bo-rilfe applying -1 surge. While the -1 surge is unfortunate, but this makes the Bo-rifle one of the most versatile weapons because it can attack at melee (stronger) and range (weaker). Who do I recommend getting this weapon for? Jarrod Kelvin. He really wants melee weapons for his Parry ability. And Bo-Rifle can fulfill that requirement while allowing him to use the Ranged attack when he wants to. Unlike many other heroes, he only needs the melee type to activate on of his better abilities, instead of be performing a melee attack. Overall, I would recommend this weapon because it is cheap, moderately powerful, and versatile.
