Desperate for Information - Story Mission 1

After being forced to flee from Geonosis, Rebel High Command has ordered your team to sneak into Admiral Motti's mansion on Cantonica. According intelligence about his mansion, it contains all of the weapon projects in at least vague detail. Also, and most important to you, Motti himself should not be there. Taking advantage of this you will attempt to access the computer and learn all you can about this new weapon...

Initial Groups: Stormtrooper, Stormtrooper (Elite). Reserved Groups: Imperial Officer (Elite). Open Groups: 4 No massive figures Special Setup: Increase the threat level by 1. Then gain 6 threat.

- Place a terminal in the upper left corner of 20a.

- Place crates at the top right corners of 9a, 1a and 3a.

- Deploy Stormtroopers to 32a. Deploy Stormtroopers (Elite) to 20a.

- The rebels deploy on 18a and 17a (divided as evenly as possible).

- A rebel figure can interact with a terminal (10 fist of tech) to discover the intelligence.

- After a rebel figure suffers damage, they receive 1 neutral mission token. This represents the heroes getting distracted by the blaster fire.

- A figure with a neutral mission token cannot interact with the terminal.

- Heroes gain

Action: Discard all neutral mission tokens on your hero sheet.

- Tile 3a represents the evacuation point.

- The mission ends when the rebels successfully interact with the terminal and all rebels are on the evacuation point or when all heroes are wounded.

When a Rebel Figure enters an interior space:

Admiral Motti waltzes out of the shadows with a cunning smile on his face. He sneers at your inadequate equipment and precedes to ask, "Did you think, you rebel scum are not predictable?"


- Deploy the reserved Imperial Officer (Elite). This is Admiral Motti

- Apply +5 health to the Imperial Officer (Elite).

- Before Admiral Motti declares an attack, he becomes focused.

- Admiral Motti gains

(surge) place 1 neutral mission token on the defender.

When the Rebel Figures have 5 strain tokens on the terminal:

Halfway there, you powerthrough as the assault continues.

- Heroes may discard 1 neutral mission token.

- A hero may interrupt to perform an attack

- An imperial figure may interrupt to perform an attack.

At the end of Round 3:

You hear more Imperial Troopers rushing in to stop you. You're running out of time...

- Increase the threat by 3.



End of the Mission Effects:

If the Heroes claimed the terminal and are all on the evacuation point:

You have successfully gathered the information and as you scroll through the information you obtained, you find the name of the weapon - the Death Star.


-Rebel Players gain 2xp and 200 credits per hero. The Imperial Player gains 1xp and 2 influence.

- Your next story mission will be Finding the Pilot.


When all heroes are wounded:

You and your team flee from the onslaught of Imperial troopers. The only shred of knowledge you can share with High Command is what Admiral Motti said to his troopers, "protect the Death Star!" You can only hope that this is the name of the weapon because that would make your trip at least partially worth it.


- Rebel Players gain 1xp and 100 credits per hero. The Imperial Player gains 2xp and 2 influence.

- Your next story mission will be Jailbreaking the Pilot.
